The Cooperative Council of the Carolinas unites every sector of the cooperative ecosystem – electric co-ops, credit unions, agricultural co-ops, food co-ops, worker-owned businesses, and more – across North and South Carolina. Together, we cultivate, connect, and amplify the cooperative movement.

Three Pillars

Cultivate – We develop cooperative leaders at every stage: from middle schoolers through our overnight Co-op Unlocked Middle School Edition experience in partnership with Girl Scouts, to high schoolers discovering the co-op model through Co-op Unlocked, and to board members and cooperative professionals sharpening their craft at our many events and gatherings.

Connect – We create the cross-sector relationships Principle 6 calls for. Electric co-ops, credit unions, food co-ops, agricultural co-ops, worker-owned businesses, and more, all come together here. Principle 6 isn't just a value. It's our operating model.

Amplify – Your cooperative's work deserves to be seen. We amplify members' visibility through events, marketing support, and as a unified cooperative voice across the Carolinas.
